NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Strong southwest winds and sunny skies will lead to high fire danger across the state over the next two days. Highs will top out in the ’60s with wind gusts over 40 mph. By Friday clouds will move in ahead of the next storm system. The storm will pass through the state on Saturday with snow and valley showers.
