Rain and thunderstorm chances will continue through the weekend. More rain chances are in store every day next week.

A messy weather pattern has begun Saturday with a broad area of rain in far eastern New Mexico and scattered storms along and west of I-25. Some of the storms across the western half of the state will continue to drift east this evening, bringing storm chances to the Rio Grande Valley this evening and overnight. Storms will be possible in the Albuquerque metro around 9 PM.

Daily rain and storm chances will develop every single day, mainly over and near the higher elevations and mountains. Temperatures will also warm into the middle of next week.
