Kristen’s Wednesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

WEDNESDAY: ‘Day 1’ of our midweek warming trend will start with morning temps in the 30s, 40s and 50s… and finish with afternoon highs in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Most of us will see quite a bit more sunshine compared to what we saw Monday and Tuesday. The exception to that will be the mountain areas where a few spotty showers will be possible with leftover moisture hanging around. Winds will generally be light, sustained speeds 5-15mph for the majority of the day.

THURSDAY: Even warmer! Afternoon highs will jump above seasonal averages with the Albuquerque-metro area well into the 70s. Mostly sunny skies will blanket the state with a few isolated storms possible over the higher terrain. There’s potential for these storms and showers to roll into the surrounding northeast highlands so heads up for those in that area!

FRIDAY: A mostly sunny and warm finish to the work week with high temperatures in the 60s, 70s and 80s (Albuquerque: 82°). No big weather maker in the area as high pressure remains in control.

WEEKEND: For those with outdoor weekend plans, you’ll want to factor in breezy conditions both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. However, there’s no major weather problems in our weekend forecast as we look to see warmer than average temps (80s & 90s), plenty of sunshine and dry conditions.
