Kristen’s Wednesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

The big weather focus on Wednesday will be the temperatures as afternoon highs will be 15°-35° cooler than what was felt Tuesday. Expect highs to warm into the 60s and 70s — most of us falling well short of average for this time of year. Spotty to scattered showers will continue to favor the mountains and Eastern Plains Wednesday before dissipating overnight into Thursday.

High pressure building over the state Thursday and Friday will give us a warm, sunny and dry finish to the work week. High temperatures will warm above normal with the ABQ-metro area likely to see widespread 80s.

This weekend will be mostly sunny and warm for the majority of the state. Moisture will slowly begin creeping in from the south, giving us more cloud cover but not much in the way of significant rain chances yet. However, things could change dramatically early next week as Tropical Storm Rosa has eyes on a possible track towards the Desert Southwest.
