Kristen’s Wednesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

A chilly and quiet start to our Wednesday with the focus being a cold front moving through the northeast corner of the state. This front will be the first in a series of fronts impacting NM. Expect low clouds and cooler temps in the Northeast Plains with more sunshine and milder temps elsewhere.

Another cold front will move through Thursday and Friday bringing a reinforcing shot of cold to the area. Afternoon highs will struggle to leave the 40s and 50s in most locations on Friday afternoon. Starting Wednesday night and continuing Thursday and Friday morning, low clouds with freezing drizzle, rain and snow will plague the Eastern Plains. Visibility and ice accumulation will be the top concern moving forward.
