Kristen’s Wednesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

Another mild day on tap with Wednesday’s afternoon highs in the 50s, 60s and 70s under a mostly sunny sky. Winds will be noticeable along and east of the Central Mountains as speeds increase ahead of our next storm system.

The mentioned storm will arrive late Thursday into Friday bringing showers, wind and cooler temps to New Mexico. A mix of rain and snow (snow levels +6000ft) will push into the Four Corners and spread south and east through the day Friday. Breezy to windy conditions will also accompany this front into the state. Temperatures will remain near average on Thursday before dropping more than 5° by Friday.

Another quick-hitting system will move in this weekend, reinforcing the cold air over the state and giving our Northern Mountains another shot at snow.
