Kristen’s Wednesday Morning Forecast

Weather Video Forecast

A mostly to partly sunny Wednesday ahead with afternoon highs climbing well into the 40s, 50s and 60s in most locales. Big changes arrive late day as strong winds take over the area. Expect northwest winds to reach 25-35mph sustained / gusting to 50-60mph overnight Wednesday into Thursday. A few spotty snow showers will follow the cold front into the state — favored: Northern Mountains and Northeast Plains. Heavy accumulation is *not expected.

Thursday will feature colder temps behind the cold front. Expect highs to be ~10° cooler than Wednesday’s readings… leaving most of us in the 30s, 40s and 50s (Albuquerque: 44°).

Mostly sunny skies and warmer temps can be expected Friday. A quick-hitting, moisture-lacking disturbance will trek across southern NM this weekend bringing more clouds to the area… but little to nothing in the way of meaningful rain.
