Kristen’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

TUESDAY: A mostly quiet and cool start to the day with morning temperatures in the 30s, 40s and 50s across NM. Spotty storms will re-develop over the mountains Tuesday afternoon as lift from daytime heating & the higher terrain combines with lingering moisture. Majority of us will stay dry under a moslty sunny sky. Expect afternoon highs to be a few degrees warmer than what we felt on Monday — leaving most of us in the 60s, 70s and 80s late day.

WEDNESDAY: Spot storms will continue to favor the higher terrain, however, fewer storms are expected Wednesday compared to what developed earlier in the week. Afternoon highs will continue to warm with temperatures in the mid-80s across the ABQ-metro.

THURSDAY/FRIDAY: Strong winds will ramp up across the state late week as a storm system moves inland to our west. Temperatures will peak Thursday (80s and 90s) before dropping more than 10° into Friday (60s and 70s).
