Kristen’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

Weather Video Forecast

Another hot afternoon with highs climbing well into the 80s and 90s across New Mexico. Moisture in place across eastern NM will allow a handful of storms to develop along and east of the Central Mountains… but fewer storms are expected Tuesday compared to Monday. Most of us within western and central NM will remain dry underneath a mostly to partly cloudy sky.

Our Independence Day looks to be mostly dry and hot with highs in the 80s, 90s and low 100s. A few storms are possible in and around the mountains and Eastern Plains, however, coverage will be limited.

An increase in moisture late week will result in better storm chances across the state. Expect scattered to even widespread storms and showers Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon.
