Kristen’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

Weather Video Forecast

Tuesday will look and feel similar to Monday with afternoon highs in the 70s, 80s and 90s under a mostly to partly sunny sky. Spotty to scattered storms will once again favor the higher terrain of western and southern NM… with only isolated storms possible elsewhere. High pressure building to our north will bring drier air over northern and eastern NM… limiting rain chances.

The mentioned area of high pressure will begin sliding east by midweek, allowing more moisture into the state. More scattered storms are expected Wednesday afternoon and evening. Even more widespread coverage will take over Thursday and Friday. Biggest threat in the next coming days will be the potential for flash flooding — be sure to stay out of low lying areas, canyons, arroyos, etc.
