Kristen’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

Storm count will come down a bit Tuesday afternoon… but the forecast won’t dry out completely. Expect storm coverage to be best across northern NM with more spotty storms within eastern NM and the higher terrain of western NM. Isolated storms will be possible elsewhere, however, not everyone will see rain in central and southern NM. Afternoon highs will rebound a few degrees with the ABQ-metro in the low 80s… still a few degrees shy of seasonal average (85°).

An incoming cold front will recharge our moisture across eastern NM on Wednesday. Expect more widespread storms across the state late Wednesday into Thursday with temps dropping mostly to the 70s and 80s.

Drier air will begin to work in from the northwest on Friday, knocking down our rain chances through the weekend. High pressure rebuilding over the area will leave most of us dry and sunny both Saturday and Sunday.
