Kristen’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

What’s left of Tropical Depression Rosa will cross Arizona/Four Corners region on Tuesday. Scattered to widespread showers will favor western and central NM through the day — more isolated coverage further east. The top threat on Tuesday will be heavy rain causing localized flooding — a FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for southern Colorado through Tuesday night.

Afternoon temperatures will remain mild through midweek with highs topping out in the 70s and 80s — near to above average for this time of year.

Our next big weather maker will come late week bringing more wind and higher terrain showers on Thursday. Yet another storm moving in this weekend looks to be much more of an issue with greater impacts here in NM. A strong cold front will crank up the winds both Saturday and Sunday, drop temperatures (below average for some!) and give way to rain and high mountain snow on Sunday.
