Kristen’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

Another cold start with morning temperatures in the 20s, 30s and 40s for most of NM. Tuesday’s afternoon warm up won’t be much to write home about as temperatures stay well below average for this time of year (30s, 40s and 50s). Our next big weather maker will continue to sit over Arizona… remaining close enough to allow for scattered to widespread rain and snow showers over New Mexico. Showers will start over western NM before pushing further inland over central, southern and eastern areas Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Rain and show showers will continue through the day Wednesday as the storm over Arizona slowly starts to shift north. Showers will linger into Thursday before dissipating as the storm moves far enough north to clear the area. Expect a gradual warm up in temps through late week… but it’ll take several days before we see seasonal temperatures return.
