Kristen’s Thursday Morning Forecast

Weather Video Forecast

The heat continues across New Mexico on Thursday with widespread 90s and low 100s expected. A mostly sunny sky will stretch over the state with winds generally ranging between 5-15mph. With just enough moisture and natural lift from the higher terrain, spotty storms are possible along and east of the Central Mountains… but coverage will be limited.

Friday will feature a similar set-up with spotty to scattered storms east of the Central Mountains and drier conditions elsewhere. High temperatures will come down a few to 5° degrees, leaving most in the 80s, 90s and low 100s (Albuquerque: 96°).

Spotty storms are still possible over the higher terrain and eastern NM over the weekend. And although most of us will still be above average for this time of year,  highs will gradually come down a few more degrees (mostly 80s, 90s and low 100s).
