Kristen’s Thursday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

As our early week storm departs, sunshine will take its place – helping to boost temps across the state. Afternoon highs will still remain below average statewide… however, temps will be close to 5° warmer than what was felt Wednesday. Mostly sunny, dry and quiet conditions can be expected in all locations Thursday afternoon.

Friday will look and feel very similar to Thursday… the difference being warmer temps. The Albuquerque-metro area will warm back into the 40s…. closer to average for this time of year although still a few degrees shy of normal.

Our next big weather maker will arrive late Saturday into Sunday bringing rain and snow back to the state. Showers will break out near the western stateline Saturday night… then push further into the state by Sunday. It’ll be a mix of rain and snow… unlike our last two storms that brought mostly snow to the area. This storm looks to be relatively warmer and faster than what was seen in the past two weeks.
