Kristen’s Monday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

A warm start to the work week as high temps climb near to just above average for this time of year — expect widespread 80s and 90s across NM. A mix of sun and clouds will blanket the state with storm chances favoring the Eastern Plains. Scattered storms will develop along and east of the Central Mountains before drifting east into surrounding lower elevations. Keep an eye out for storms to turn strong to severe within the Northeast Plains.

Fewer storms are expected Tuesday with mostly to partly sunny skies filling in overhead. Afternoon highs will stay near average with the Albuquerque-metro area warming into the low to mid-90s.

Our Independence Day forecast is looking mostly dry with a handful of mountain storms possible. Temperatures will be warm with most of us in the 80s and 90s.
