Video Forecast

FRIDAY: Our next storm approaching from the west will give way to spotty to scattered showers near the western stateline on Friday afternoon. These showers will be a mix of rain and high mountain snow… with accumulating snow likely in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains beginning Friday night. These showers will push further into the state Friday evening into Saturday. Afternoon highs will stay cool in the 40s, 50s and 60s statewide.

WINTER STORM WATCH in effect Friday evening through Saturday afternoon for the Sangre de Cristo Mountains — accumulations: 3″ – 8″ / close to 12″ above 9000ft.

SATURDAY: As the mentioned storm pushes east, showers will follow. Rain and high mountain snow will favor central and eastern NM while areas further west begin their next drying trend. Afternoon highs will be a touch cooler in most areas — the exception: far northwest NM and southern CO (+2-5° warmer).

SUNDAY: More sunshine, drier conditions and warmer temps will stretch statewide.
