Kristen’s Friday Morning Forecast

Video Forecast

A nice finish to the work week with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures stretched across the state Friday afternoon. Most of us will see temps near seasonal averages — expect widespread 50s, 60s and 70s (Albuquerque: 68°).

Near-perfect weather is on track for the weekend as high pressure builds over the state. Expect mostly sunny conditions, dry skies and above average temperatures area-wide. A weak backdoor cold front will move in over the Northeast Plains on Sunday, however, impacts will be limited to a slight cool down in the northeast corner.

Monday will be a transition day as our next storm arrives Tuesday/Wednesday. Expect the winds to pick up Monday afternoon before showers fill in late Tuesday. Cold air packed in with this storm will also drop temperatures below average by midweek.
