A pleasant fall day to finish the work week with afternoon highs in the 50s and 60s across NM under a mostly sunny sky. Our next weather maker doesn’t move in until Saturday — all the more reason to get outside and enjoy the nice conditions today!
An incoming cold front will be the weather focus over the weekend. Impacts will include a drop in temperatures, breezy conditions and a few spot showers. Eastern NM will take the biggest hit with temperatures dropping 10°-20° between Friday and Sunday. Areas further west will lose about 5° off afternoon highs. The ABQ-metro will see an uptick in east canyon winds as the front squeezes through central NM Saturday night.
