Kristen's Wednesday Morning Forecast

Rain favors eastern NM midweek...

October 24th 2018 - Showers continue to bring rain to central and eastern NM Wednesday morning... but as the parent storm shifts east, so do the rain chances. Drier air will begin to work in over western NM, limiting rain chances west of I-25 Wednesday afternoon. However, showers will linger in eastern NM through the majority of the day.

Dry air will overtake the state Thursday and Friday, consequently, warming us up in the process. Expect more sunshine and temperatures to climb back to near average to finish the week. A small disturbance in the flow aloft may allow a few spot showers to fire off in the northern high country, however, coverage and intensity will be limited.

High pressure building over the area this weekend will result in sunny, dry and pleasant weather both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
