At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it’s going to be another hot day across New Mexico. Expect highs in the mid 90s in Albuquerque and triple digit heat across the southeast. The southeast will have the shot at a spot storm or two, especially near the state line.
Storm chances improve for Friday, with storms focusing over the high terrain. More moisture moves in Saturday, allowing for widely scattered storms late Saturday into early Sunday. The state dries out once again Sunday afternoon leading to more heat heading into early next week.
