Showers and storms will focus along and east of the central mountain chain on Tuesday. Expect fewer storms on Monday, with a drying trend continuing into the 4th of July holiday. With less moisture around for midweek, expect temperatures to be on the hot side.
Late in the week, moisture will boost back up across the state. This will give much of New Mexico a better shot at seeing showers and storms. With more moisture around, expect temperatures to drop to near or below average.
