Brief warm spell leads into rain and possible snow

Warmer weather settles in for Saturday before our next storm system moves in Sunday that will bring another chance for scattered showers and mountain snow.

Rain showers will move into western New Mexico by early Sunday with rain spreading into the metro by the mid morning hours. Snow will fall in the northern mountains through Sunday night, as precipitation spread eastward across the state into Monday morning.

Quieter and cooler weather will move in through the middle of next week.
