Thursday will be one of the nicest days we have for quite some time. Temperatures will be around 60 for Albuquerque and 70 for Roswell. Friday’s storm will produce a decent amount of snow in the northern mountains. Any showers making it to lower elevations won’t last long. Wind will be the biggest impact from this first storm. Blowing snow in the mountains will make it very dangerous to drive.
Light snow will stick around in the mountains Saturday. On Sunday, the jet stream digs deeper. This storm will be wetter, windier, and colder. Albuquerque has a much better chance of precipitation on Sunday. Snow will be possible in the morning. Things will be stable on Monday, but cold. Highs in the metro will be in the 30s. Active weather will likely return as soon as December 6th.
