The threat for severe weather is over. However, destructive wind is in the in the forecast. Tomorrow afternoon and evening will bring some of the strongest winds we’ve seen in quite some time. Meanwhile, the upper elevations will receive heavy snow. Santa Fe and the Sandia Foothills could get a dusting. Travel conditions will be extremely dangerous above 9,500’.

The winds will die down on Thursday with temperatures 20 degrees below average. Sunday is a day to look forward to. We will likely have temperatures in the upper 50s in Albuquerque with blue skies.
