The leftover clouds and spot showers in southeast New Mexico will quickly push into Texas tonight. A strong northwest flow will replace the lackluster storm. Wind gusts will be strongest across the eastern slopes and plains. It looks like most of the valleys will be shielded. The breeze in Albuquerque may be a bit annoying on Wednesday, but we will stay below advisory thresholds.
Thursday will be a great day to spend outdoors. The winds will die down. Most places will get over 50 degrees with nothing but blue skies. Friday brings back the clouds. The mild December gets a little cooler by Sunday. This front might bring some light snow to the northern mountains. All signs continue to point to a storm around Christmas.
