A chilly day in eastern New Mexico will lead to another subfreezing night. An incoming storm on Wednesday will force temperatures to increase and bring moisture. This storm will track a bit too far north. The northern mountain will get some routine snow and places like Farmington will pick up some isolated showers Wednesday night. Winds will start to pick up Thursday ahead of a bigger storm on Friday. This storm is expected to bring showers to Albuquerque sometime after sunset.
Saturday is shaping up to be a bluebird pow day. This weekend looks calm. Active weather continues as another, large storm slams the state on Monday.
