We can’t ask for much better weather across New Mexico today. Friday will bring similar conditions to Albuquerque. Extra cloud cover down south will knock down the temperatures a bit and bring isolated showers. We are in the clear for Saturday, but Sunday brings a wave in the jet stream expected to dump off snow in the northern mountains. The San Juans will be the big winners, which is only relative. Snow accumulations on Sunday and Monday will be routine.
Lingering energy will give precipitation chances in the northwest quadrant on Tuesday and Wednesday. The odds of rain making it down to Albuquerque this week are slim except on Monday.
