Showers are pushing into New Mexico from Arizona Sunday morning. Showers will be heaviest early on. The snow elevation will generally be 8,000’ in the north and closer to 10,000’ in the south. Portions of I-25 could get icy this morning with temperatures close to freezing and some scattered wintry mix. Temperatures in the valleys will be too warm for snow in the afternoon.
Temperatures will hold steady in the 40s this week for the metro. The sun is expected to return on Monday. No major systems are in the forecast. The most notable disturbance looks like it’ll swing through this weekend and give the San Juans some light snow.
