It did not get cold enough in Albuquerque for snow. Instead, it will be a rainy day in the metro. We will have on-and-off light showers through 9 pm tonight. Conditions will be poor and possibly severe in other areas. Light snow will fall on segments of I-25 and I-40. 6-12” of snow is forecast above 9,500’ today. Exercise extreme caution if you are traveling into high terrain.
The clouds stick around on Monday. Rain and snow chances will continue in northwest New Mexico and Southern Colorado this week. Sunnier conditions will be found in southeast New Mexico. The active weather pattern will keep our temperatures on the cool side.
