NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Strong to severe thunderstorms will cruise through New Mexico tonight. Shear will not be enough for long duration severe thresholds. Storms may present continuous lightning, accumulating hail, and damaging winds before midnight.

Temperatures spike on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday will be a particularly concerning day for fire weather. Wednesday will bring cooler temperatures that will remain steady for Memorial Day Weekend.
