It’s safe to say that Monday will be perfect. Winds will be minimal to go with an even 70 in Albuquerque. Tuesday brings some moisture to eastern New Mexico. We’ll get a few weak thunderstorms Tuesday evening and a few stronger thunderstorms Wednesday evening. Temperatures rise with the increase in moisture.
Thursday brings back a stiff west wind that blows away every drop of moisture. This will raise the fire danger. This weekend will bring a cold front that will cool down the whole state. Temperatures will be well below average in some areas. This will bring the potential for snow in the northeast highlands and certainly for the northern mountains. This forecast will likely change based on the inconsistency of previous models. As of now, impacts for this storm look low.
