West winds will persist into Tuesday. It’ll probably be just the right amount of wind to take the edge of the 70s and 80s across the state. Tuesday will be warm but cloudy. Peaks over the north and west may be able to scrape off a few showers, but the bulk of the storm is Wednesday. A low will dig deep into New Mexico producing strong winds and snow above 8,000’. Rain in the metro is looking likely. We’ll probably get a nice soaking in the morning followed by on-and-off showers throughout the day.
Temperatures quickly rebound with a high pressure on Thursday. A backdoor cold front may produce some action in the east on Saturday. Otherwise, a quiet, mild weekend is ahead.
