Before Tuesday night’s cold front, temperatures will remain warm. Cloud cover will slightly increase across the state. Most cities will get over 70 degrees.
The Pacific cold front is still on track to hit late Tuesday night. This will bring significant snow accumulations in the Sangre de Cristos. Snow accumulations will be possible on the eastern slopes and plains down to 5,000’. Accumulations in the San Juans and Jemez Mountains will be less with a snow elevation of 6,500’. Thursday morning will be a quick taste of winter with temperatures 30s. Temperatures will climb back to seasonable values for the weekend.
