Today’s cold front will deliver 2-6” of snow above 9,500’. Snow showers at 7,000’ or lower will be scattered. Winds will increase as the front passes southeast. The front will hit Albuquerque around noon. There is a slight possibility of getting a quick rain shower as the front passes the metro. Light snow showers are expected in the northern mountains tomorrow as well.
Monday night brings a robust storm to the southwest. Snow totals will be high in Arizona and New Mexico. Things will be too warm for snow in Albuquerque on Monday, but snow accumulations are possible Tuesday morning. Temperatures will gradually warmup into the following weekend.
