Rain chances looking less likely

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Moisture is looking less impressive this morning on satellite. The eastern plains will pick up on the heaviest rainfall. Gust fronts will only be able to trigger so much given the low dew points. Thunderstorm coverage will trend downward through Monday.

Dry west winds take over by Tuesday. Rain chances will be close to zero thanks to unseasonably dry air. Temperatures will be consistently above average.
