Thunderstorms likely

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Routine thunderstorms will form over the mountains through Monday. Showers will not reach Albuquerque until after sunset today. Valley showers and thunderstorms will be less likely on Sunday. While we do not anticipate organized thunderstorm activity, a severe storm or two cannot be ruled out.

Dry weather will prevail for most of the week. A cold front will pass through on Friday. This should support strong to severe thunderstorms.
