A few stranglers along the dry line should exit into Texas by 9 pm tonight. Minus some sprinkles or drizzle, we’ll be done with rain until Sunday night. Conditions at Run for the Zoo should be just about perfect. The race will start 54 degrees with scattered cloud cover. Storms on Sunday night will be limited as moisture is limited to the border counties of eastern New Mexico. Monday brings a small opportunity for storms as well.
The monotonous weather changes in Albuquerque on Monday with stiff winds out of the southwest. Elevated winds will create a small concern for fires through Tuesday. Tuesday night a Pacific low dips into New Mexico starting mountain showers. Temperatures will gradually sink to below average by Thursday. Rain is looking likely on Friday and Saturday throughout central New Mexico.
