NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Thunderstorms producing large hail and damaging wind gusts will die down near the Texas border around midnight. Upslope thunderstorms will form over the mountains again on Sunday. This regime will be less favorable for severe weather.
The heat is back big time on Monday. Besides some mountain thunderstorms on Tuesday, it’s a very dry forecast. Southern Colorado will particularly vulnerable to wildfires this week due to breezier conditions.
