Chilly overnight, calmer winds

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Northeast winds will continue across the plains. Winds will be completely calm by Tuesday. Freezing temperatures could get down to 7,000′ tonight in the northern mountains.

Temperatures will be above average by Wednesday. A weak backdoor front will be unable to produce any showers on Thursday, but will cool the plains down. Next weekend will be dry and sunny.
