Rain tonight

Showers are expected to migrate to the Rio Grande Valley by the evening and will continue into Tuesday morning. Showers, if any, will be mainly south of I-40 Tuesday through Thursday as the low pressure in Arizona periodically spits energy into New Mexico.

The storm system finally departs on Friday and brings more scattered showers into central and northern New Mexico. This weekend will likely be off to a dry start. Sunday is still up in the air.
