Cloud cover will linger over the southern part of the state today producing a few, quick showers along high terrain. Saturday will also bring mellow conditions. Later that night, snow will develop over the San Juans. Most areas above 8,000’ will get accumulating snow by Sunday morning.
The next front will be much colder. We expect that this front will bring a better chance of delivering some rain to the Rio Grande Valley. Temperatures will be at or below average after the second storm.
