NEW MEXICO (KRQE) -Strong winds will follow the exiting storm system today creating harsh wind chills. Meanwhile, upslope snow showers will continue into the high country. Snow accumulations today will be less than three inches. Most of the valleys will be sunny.

Another pacific front will push into the western slopes Saturday night delivering heavy mountain snow. Lowlands will flirt with freezing temperatures, so accumulations will be significantly less below 7,000′.
