A high pressure has shifted from New Mexico to Texas tonight. This will open the door for thin, high clouds to spread over the region. Despite the expansion of cloud cover, the change in wind flow will raise temperatures into the 50s this weekend.
A weak disturbance on Monday will bring spot showers to southern New Mexico and flurries to the northern mountains. Totals will barely be measurable. A massive high pressure arrives on Wednesday. Temperatures will approach 60 in Albuquerque with clear skies. We could really use a snowstorm. Snowpack levels are starting to dip below average from the lack of activity.
