Tropical Depression Sergio has made landfall (for the second time) in Mexico this morning. The tropical system will be technically a depression as it crosses into New Mexico. Cold air will decay the tropical system rendering it into a passing low. Most areas south will get over a half inch of rain. Spot showers could reach into the Metro tonight. Tomorrow will be relatively warm too. Showers are possible tomorrow evening and tomorrow night as a cold front gets closer.
Things are going to happen fast. The backdoor push will bring Monday’s high to only 44 degrees. Mixed precip is possible downtown. The snow accumulation for the Sandias shouldn’t be much higher than 7,000’. Cooler weather will stick around for the remainder of the week.
