November 10th, 2018 - Lingering clouds will burn up today leading to comfortable conditions. Most places will reach the 50s. The winter storm will hit the northern mountains and Raton Ridge around 2 PM on Sunday. This storm will only last about 24 hours. However, this will be enough time to see nearly a foot of snow in the highest peaks of the Sangre de Cristos. There will be a swath of heavy snow somewhere close to the I-40 corridor. This area will get up to 6” of snow.
Albuquerque could get a dusting of snow Monday morning, but the more likely outcome is we briefly get some mixed precipitation. We could also get some isolated showers Sunday night. Temperatures will be significantly cooler on Monday no matter where you live. Icy roads will be a concern for a large portion of I-25 and I-40 on Monday.
