WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON: The big warmup begins today with highs in the 60s & 70s. The majority of New Mexico will remain dry but with afternoon heating, and lingering moisture, a few showers & storms may pop-up across the northern mountains and eastern plains.
THURSDAY: Even warmer temps expected with highs in the 70s & 80s. The ABQ Metro will flirt with the upper-70s. A few isolated storms are possible over the higher terrain and northeast as a weak backdoor front works its way into the state.
FRIDAY: A very warm to hot day in store. Most areas will be sunny with highs in the 70s & 80s. A few low 90s are possible across the south. The ABQ Metro should get into the low 80s.
WEEKEND: A weak system will scrape northern NM but most of the state should remain dry, breezy & warm. Temps will be in the 70s, 80s & 90s.
