THURSDAY EARLY EVENING: Lingering snow showers in the Sangre de Cristo & Sandia Mountains will continue into the overnight hours. 4-8″ may fall above 9,500′ and Santa Fe may pick up close to 1″. Evening temps will be cool in the 30s & 40s for most with overnight lows falling into the 20s & 30s.
FRIDAY: Isolated snow showers will try to hold on over the Northern Mountains through the morning hours. Most of NM can expect a mostly sunny finish to the work week with afternoon highs climbing a few degrees over Thursday’s temps (but still falling short of normal). A few high clouds will begin to move into southern NM Friday afternoon.
SATURDAY: A small disturbance in the upper flow will pull some moisture into the southern half of New Mexico. A few spotty showers will develop over southern NM Saturday afternoon. Higher locations will see rain & snow. A few clouds may roll into the I-40 corridor with this system but no precipitation is expected.
