Christopher’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast

Video Forecast

Rain & snow showers have favored the northwest corner of NM today but rain & snow is beginning to advance south and east this afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will be above average for all of New Mexico with the warmest readings across the south and east where widespread 70s are expected. Here in ABQ, we should top out around 57°.

The Pacific moisture will continue to stream into New Mexico Thursday night. Widespread rain & snow are likely. Snow levels will remain high (+8000ft) where heavy snow is possible. Peaks above 9500ft could see up to 2 feet of snow.

Another storm crosses the state on Saturday brining with it, more snow to the north and cooler temperatures. This light snow will continue into Sunday. Another (third storm) will impact the state early next week and could provide more heavy snow with much lower snow levels since this storm will have colder air to work with.
