THURSDAY AFTERNOON: Rain and snow showers will continue to favor the northern high terrain through the afternoon hours but more storms and rain showers are expected to fill in over western NM late in the day as a weak disturbance moves overhead. The ABQ Metro should get in on rain action late this afternoon. Highs will be cool with the ABQ Metro in the low to mid-60s. Winds will increase this evening in the Metro and for the rest of the Rio Grande Valley. 50mph gusts are possible. 

FRIDAY & WEEKEND: Widespread rain and mountain snow can be expected on Friday. Snow levels will rise to 9,000ft. Temps will be cool on Friday in the 40s & 50s. Rain & isolated thunderstorms will continue over the weekend for the state. Temps will slowly increase over the weekend.
